Life After Retirement - Episode -4

Life After Retirement – Episode – 4

This is my customary annual Blog. The last blog on the subject was written on 24th June 2010

I have now completed three years of retirement and have entered in Fourth Year.

Life has remained busy. Especially, the last year was more than busy. The last two semesters of MBA were a bit heavy. I took Finance as specialisation, because, I do not know anything about finance. That was evident also, the way I had done my investments throughout my life. So, I said, let me do something, or study something which, I had never done in my earlier part of my life. So, my last two semesters were bit difficult. But at last, when I appeared for my final paper on 26th June, 2011, my MBA was over.

What shall I do next? What shall I look for?

I have to think of doing some study, but it should be less strenuous and I should be able to take it up at my own pace.

Last year was busy, because of my 20 hours a week at Nirman Group for setting up their HR systems and commencing ISO:9001 activities. Delivering four Lectures a week at Moonje Institute for MBA and advising Mr. Upadhyay on matters of his new upcoming Plant at Bhusawal and in the left over time doing my study for my own MBA as a student. All these, as my wont, were not at all remunerative, but kept me busy. Thus throughout last year I remained busy, may be except for those 15 Days at Shirish’s house in Singapore during Diwali 2010.

Last year, I kept Manjiri unhappy most of the time, this year, I think, I will travel more, listen to songs more, and practice a little bit, read more, and live life more like a retired person.
